My research

Primary research interest: phonology (including whatever one means by 'morpho-phonology')

Particular interests: English (domain-edge clusters), Polish (palatalisation, vowel-zero alternations, Poznań-Cracow Voicing), levels in phonology, Class 1 vs. Class 2 boundary effects

Side interests: morphology, syntax.

Current research: Domain-edge clusters in English vs. Government Phonology.

Ph.D. thesis (2009): "Phonology with Interfaces. The Morphophonology and Postlexical Phonology of English and Polish." Current stage of production: reviewed and defended. The thesis was reviewed by Professors Jerzy Rubach and Tobias Scheer. The defense took place in July 2009 at the then School of English, Adam Mickiewicz University, and was a success. I now hold a Doctor's degree in linguistics. Should have any interest in my dissertation -- it is over 350 pages long -- you may download it from LingBuzz following this link http://ling.auf.net/lingBuzz/000986.

M.A. thesis (2004): "Phonotactic preferences as evidence for binding. Variation on Beats-and-Binding Phonology" (Poznań, 2004). Due to certain restrictions, it cannot be made downloadable. Parts of this paper have been recycled for my first article to be published, "The Strength of bindings vs. their phonotactic preferability. Computational analysis in Beats-and-Binding phonology", downloadable from the PAPERS section of this page (not particularly exciting or something I would write again these days).
